Amy Jacobs-Schroeder is the CEO & co-founder of Happy Ladders, a parent-led autism support platform rooted in simplicity, practicality, & meaningful progress. A mother of five, wife, daughter, & author of The Parent-Led Revolution, Amy brings nearly 25 years of experience working with children with autism & developmental disabilities. She is a passionate advocate for parent empowerment & a firm believer that ABA can—& should—be fun, flexible, & family-centered.
With deep respect for the emotional and logistical load carried by special needs parents, Amy’s mission is to remove overwhelm, eliminate unnecessary steps, & create clear, actionable paths toward growth. Fifteen years ago, she challenged the traditional model that placed parents on the sidelines and shifted to a parent-led approach—a decision that transformed her work & the families she supports.
